Thousands cross into Spain's north Africa enclave in new migrant crisis

Thousands of migrants crossed from Morocco into Spain's Ceuta enclave overnight, with around 40,000 entering in recent days, overwhelming the area's 80,000 population and prompting a government crisis. France has announced tighter border checks with Spain in response.
