‘Extremely scary findings’ show climate crisis is supercharging Europe’s wildfire weather

A study by the World Weather Attribution consortium found that global heating has made extreme hot, dry, and windy wildfire conditions in Spain at least 20 times more likely and twice as likely in France. The analysis links these conditions to the climate crisis caused by burning fossil fuels.
