West Bengal BJP president writes to CM, wants chemical park at Singur
The West Bengal BJP president has written to the Chief Minister proposing the establishment of a chemical park at Singur. Singur is associated with a failed industrialization effort after Tata Motors abandoned its small car factory in 2008 due to protests against land acquisition led by Trinamool Congress chairperson Mamata Banerjee.
