President approves Nishan-i-Imtiaz for new strategic command chief
President Asif Ali Zardari approved the Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) for General Syed Aamer Raza, newly appointed Commander of the National Strategic Command. The appointment follows the 27th Constitutional Amendment, which restructured Pakistan’s higher military command and created the NSC to unify strategic forces under a single operational headquarters.
