Pakistan backs Saudi right to self-defence after Iraq strikes

Pakistan endorsed Saudi Arabia's air strikes in Iraq as an exercise of its right to self-defence under the UN Charter and reaffirmed its defense commitments to Gulf partners. The country emphasized that its defense agreements with Saudi Arabia and others do not undermine its role as a mediator in the Iran-US conflict, while condemning attacks by non-state actors against Saudi Arabia.
