Former Salisbury police deputy chief, Seattle police chief resigns over response to festival shooting

Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes resigned following criticism of his department's response to a gang-related shootout at a food festival near the Space Needle that killed three people. Barnes had previously served as Deputy Chief in Salisbury and as Chief in Madison.
