Resilience against organised crime
Pakistan was removed from the FATF grey list in 2022 but remains on its ‘enhanced follow-up’ list to monitor AML/CFT implementation. The 2025 Global Organised Crime Index ranks Pakistan 45th out of 193 countries, citing high vulnerability to organized crime and weak resilience due to governance failures, corruption, and political interference.
