Round 2 of rabies vaccine bait drop begins Saturday
Vermont begins a second round of rabies vaccine bait distribution on August 1, targeting wild animals like raccoons and skunks. The effort, coordinated by the Vermont Department of Health and USDA Wildlife Services, aims to combat rising rabies cases, with 915,700 baits to be dropped across 10 counties and parts of neighboring states.
