Richmond cuts off Shoosmith Landfill leachate processor over alleged leachate violations
The city of Richmond accused a private wastewater processing company of illegally accepting landfill leachate and discharging wastewater into the city's sewer system. The processor was cut off from operations used by the bankrupt Shoosmith Landfill.
