House of horrors: Bronx grandmother and mother charged for allegedly starving autistic boy to death, police say

Two Bronx women, Denise Jarvis and her daughter Geneva Jarvis, were charged with murder for allegedly starving their 16-year-old autistic son, Adonis Jarvis, to death. Adonis and his twin brother, both autistic and nonverbal, exhibited severe malnourishment and neglect before his death in March, leading to a grand jury indictment and arraignment on July 30.
