1 dead after deputy shooting in Macomb County

A deputy shooting in Macomb County on July 30 resulted in one death after a suspect, wanted for felonious assault and possibly experiencing a mental health crisis, failed to comply with officers and engaged in a confrontation. The suspect backed into a patrol motorcycle, fled, and later exited his vehicle armed before being shot by a deputy.
