Pakistan removed from risk assessor’s list of dangerous waters: maritime affairs minister
Pakistan and its territorial waters have been removed from the Lloyd’s Market Association’s Joint War Committee (JWC) Listed Areas, reducing war-risk insurance premiums and shipping costs. Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry highlighted this as a boost for Pakistani exports and global shipping confidence, achieved through sustained negotiations with Lloyd’s officials.
