Father of boy rescued from pounding California surf says he is beyond grateful to teen lifeguard

A 10-year-old boy, Nathaniel, was rescued from dangerous surf in Santa Cruz, California, by 16-year-old lifeguard Ryder Williams. The boy's father, Sumit Rai, expressed gratitude to Williams for risking his safety to save Nathaniel. The rescue, captured on video, drew attention, including from President Donald Trump, and the boy suffered no serious injuries.
