Man found dead in South L.A. neighborhood, homicide investigation underway

A man was found dead in the Florence-Firestone neighborhood of South Los Angeles, prompting a homicide investigation. Los Angeles County deputies responded to the 9600 block of Kalmia Street on July 28 just before midnight, where an adult male victim was discovered deceased at the scene.
