1 dead, 1 injured in Oakland Park crash

A woman was killed and a man was injured in a two-car crash in Oakland Park. The incident occurred at the intersection of Northwest 44th Street and Northwest 31st Avenue, with deputies and emergency responders arriving around 6:35 p.m. The female driver died at the scene, while the male driver was hospitalized. The Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating.
