Fish sauce, anyone? A small town in Canada’s east is finally getting rid of a foul smell

St. Mary’s, a small town in Newfoundland and Labrador, is finally removing 110 abandoned tanks of fermented fish sauce that caused a decades-long foul smell. The cleanup, funded partly by a town loan, involves draining the tanks and safely disposing of the contents, ending a long struggle for the community.
