Surgery Underused for Primary Hyperparathyroidism With End-Organ Damage, Study Says
A study found that a small fraction of patients with primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT)-associated end-organ damage underwent surgical treatment, based on a large national cohort study of over 43,000 adults with biochemically diagnosed PHPT.
