State police alone cannot solve insecurity, CSOs warn federal govt
Civil society organizations (CSOs) warn that the federal government cannot rely solely on state police to address insecurity in Nigeria. They argue that police can respond to crime but cannot eliminate structural conditions causing it, and police restructuring alone will not resolve the security crisis.
