Davie landlord warned cops he’d ‘beat the s--- out of’ tenant, followed through hours later: Police

A Davie landlord, Lennie Joseph Dufrene Jr., is facing a felony battery charge after severely beating a mentally ill tenant. Police responded to a prior call where Dufrene reported property damage, and he later threatened and attacked the tenant after the tenant was released from a hospital. The victim sustained facial fractures and required medical attention.
