Lawsuit: Penske and Boehly staged Golden Globes boycott to buy it cheap

Members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) sued Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge Industries, alleging they colluded to devalue the Golden Globe Awards through a boycott to acquire it cheaply and create a monopoly. The lawsuit claims the defendants hid Penske's involvement in the 2023 acquisition and reneged on promises to HFPA members.
