Putin Replaces Head of Udmurtia Republic Following Surprise Resignation

President Putin has replaced the head of the Udmurtia Republic following a surprise resignation. The president appointed Udmurtia native and former agricultural official Olga Abramova as acting governor until regional elections can be held.
