‘Practical’ young Africans leaning towards China over US and away from ideology

A survey of 4,901 young Africans aged 18-24 across 16 countries found China has overtaken the United States in positive perceptions among youth, though the U.S. remains seen as more influential. The African Youth Survey reported 81% viewed the U.S. as influential, while 79% cited China.
