Americans see AI more negatively, poll finds
A poll by Bentley University and Gallup shows that nearly 40% of US adults now believe AI does more harm than good, up from 31% in 2022, with younger Americans (18-29) most critical. Over 70% worry AI will reduce US jobs, and only 27% trust businesses to use AI responsibly. Disapproval of data centers, essential for AI, is also widespread.
