Russia charges Telegram founder Pavel Durov with aiding terrorism and puts him on wanted list

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) charged Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram, with aiding terrorism and added him to an international wanted list. The FSB accused Telegram of not removing channels linked to Ukrainian intelligence agencies and extremist groups used for terrorism and cyberfraud. Durov claimed Russian authorities fabricated charges to restrict Telegram’s privacy and free speech.
