Flap over noncitizens on state voter rolls seen as unlikely to boost SAVE America Act

New Jersey identified 6,600 noncitizens on its voter rolls due to a software issue in the Motor Vehicle Commission's automatic voter registration system, with less than 400 voting. Alaska's voter data also faces scrutiny, but experts and lawmakers say these issues are unlikely to advance the Senate's stalled SAVE America Act, which requires proof of citizenship for voter registration.
