Maniac accused of killing mom, sister before blowing up NYC home charged with murder as cops reveal pets died in blaze

Kegan Thomas, 33, was charged with murder, attempted murder, arson, aggravated cruelty to animals, and criminal possession of a weapon after allegedly killing his mother and sister before setting fire to his New York City home. The blaze also resulted in the deaths of his pets, and Thomas was hospitalized after being shot by responding police officers.
