A 29-year-old man working at a franchise was scammed out of $500 after receiving a detailed call from scammers posing as headquarters and FBI officials. The scam involved claims of an investigation into counterfeit bills, fake policy numbers, and a gag order, which prevented him from alerting his manager or owner until after the second attempted deposit was blocked by alert employees.
