Baltimore sues Kratom makers citing local ordinance

Baltimore is suing kratom manufacturers and distributors for allegedly violating the city's consumer protection ordinance through deceptive trade practices. The lawsuit targets companies like Open, LLC and Pur Botanicals LLC, accusing them of using shell companies to obscure their operations. Maryland also banned kratom sales statewide as of July 1 under its Kratom Consumer Protection Act.
