Social workers eye compact to erase licensing hurdles

Massachusetts senators have approved an amendment to join a multistate social worker licensure compact, allowing social workers to practice across state lines with fewer licensing hurdles. The policy aims to improve access to care for clients moving between states, supported by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
