Attempted carjacking in Grosse Pointe Woods ends in crash, 2 suspects arrested

Two men attempted to carjack a family's SUV in Grosse Pointe Woods early Tuesday morning, leading to a confrontation where the victim fired at the suspects. The suspects fled in a silver Chevrolet Equinox, crashed into a light pole and flower bed, and were arrested by police. Both suspects, in their 20s, are expected to face charges.
