Chad's population see census as solution to make grievances heard
Chad launched its third General Population and Housing Census (RGPH-3) in June 2023, the first nationwide census since 2009. Logistical challenges in remote areas are hindering efforts, prompting residents to travel to nearby towns to be counted, while many hope the census will highlight public service deficiencies. The report originates from Massaguet, western Chad.
