Sussex County considers regulations to preserve Delaware forests in the face of development

Sussex County in Delaware may adopt regulations requiring developments to preserve 30% of pre-existing forest in 'growth areas' and 50% in 'rural areas' to counter development. The proposed law, deferred for further consideration, stems from recommendations by the Sussex County Land Use Reform Working Group.
