Iran hangs 2 men convicted of killing 4 police officers in January protests
Iran executed two men convicted of killing four police officers during January protests. The men, identified as Abolfazl Sepahi Badjani and Amir Hossein Safari Hosseinabadi, were also involved in setting a police station on fire and damaging public properties in Isfahan. They are among tens of thousands arrested during the January crackdown, with more executions reported earlier in July.
