Man builds 3D-printed mobility devices for children in need

An Iowa man named Anthony Duran is using a 3D printer to create and donate custom mobility trainers to children with mobility challenges, including 16-month-old Saylor, who has a rare genetic condition. The devices, which cost thousands of dollars commercially, are produced at home and aim to help children experience their environment independently. Duran has already delivered three trainers and plans to donate more, including to the University of Iowa children’s hospital.
