Strong to severe storms possible as cold front moves into Charlotte region

A cold front is expected to bring strong to severe storms to the Charlotte region on Tuesday afternoon and evening, with damaging wind gusts, hail, and a possible tornado. Temperatures will peak in the mid-90s, followed by drier, more seasonable conditions mid-week and a return to humidity and storm chances by the weekend.
