Major Oregon interstate closed for 70 miles due to wildfire

A wildfire in Oregon, known as the Fox Fire, forced the closure of Interstate 84 for 70 miles between Baker City and Ontario, prompting evacuations in Huntington. The fire, fueled by hot and dry conditions, has burned nearly 72 square miles and remains 0% contained. Additional wildfires near Sisters and along U.S. Route 20 further disrupted travel.
