Brazil turns to China trade deal after Trump’s tariffs, as years of resistance end

Brazil and China agreed to accelerate negotiations for a trade deal between China and Mercosur, ending years of Brazilian resistance. The agreement was discussed during a phone call between Presidents Xi Jinping and Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
