Person found with fractured leg in Calfkiller River

A person with a compound fractured leg was rescued from the Calfkiller River by Sparta Rescue Squad and volunteer fire departments. Rescuers used a low-angle rope system to navigate challenging terrain before transporting the individual by helicopter to a regional trauma center.
