Officials identify driver struck, killed by tractor-trailer along I-77 in York County

A 40-year-old driver, Tasia Villa, was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer on Interstate 77 in York County after her Volkswagen hydroplaned in rain, hit a wall, and stopped. The York County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the incident while awaiting autopsy and toxicology reports.
