Poland asks US to extradite its ex-justice minister
Poland has requested the U.S. to arrest and extradite Zbigniew Ziobro, former Justice Minister, for alleged abuse of power, misuse of public funds, and spying. The request is part of efforts by Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s government to hold Ziobro’s PiS party accountable for past governance. Ziobro, now in the U.S. as a TV commentator, denies the charges, calling them politically motivated, while his party faces internal divisions.
