NSW police deputy commissioner says letting Jewish security group carry guns could be seen as ‘favouritism’

The New South Wales police deputy commissioner has opposed calls to arm private security at Jewish events, while the royal commission into antisemitism and social cohesion is examining security measures for the Jewish community. The Community Security Group (CSG) has requested to be armed following the Bondi terror attack.
