Maharashtra scraps mandatory one-year SRS bond for MBBS students
Maharashtra has abolished the mandatory one-year Service Responsibility Statement (SRS) bond for MBBS students. The bond was initially introduced to require graduates to provide societal service in exchange for subsidized medical education.
