Protesters launch high court challenge to Queensland ban on ‘from the river to the sea’

Pro-Palestine protesters in Queensland have filed a high court challenge against a state law banning the slogan 'from the river to the sea', alleging it is an unconstitutional content-based restriction on free speech. The law, which also prohibits the phrase 'globalise the intifada', was enacted by the Liberal National Party government following a December terror attack in Bondi.
