US border tsar says vetting of ICE officer is under internal review after Maine shooting

US border tsar Tom Homan stated that the vetting of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer involved in a fatal shooting in Maine is under internal review after relatives revealed his history of mental health issues and violent behavior. Homan suggested the officer should not have passed vetting if the allegations are true.
