Two people struck by lightning on North Carolina beach, officials say
Two people were struck by lightning on Shell Island, the northern tip of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue Director Sam Proffitt confirmed the incident, but the victims' conditions remain unknown.
