Chief suspect in Berlin Pride attack shot dead, police say

The chief suspect in the Berlin Pride attack, which resulted in one death and 29 injuries, was shot dead by police after a 24-hour search. The suspect, Abdul Ballout, a German citizen with Lebanese roots, had previously attempted to join Islamic State.
