Shortage of ventilators posing risks to saving lives in hospitals across Islamabad
Hospitals in Islamabad are facing a ventilator shortage, with nearly all existing units occupied and financial and staffing challenges exacerbating the crisis. A new block at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) is being established to add 40 ventilators.
