Berlin Pride van and knife rampage an ‘Islamist terrorist attack’, say German authorities

A van ramming and knife attack near Berlin’s Pride festival was declared an Islamist terrorist attack by German authorities. The incident, which occurred in Tiergarten park near the Brandenburg Gate, resulted in one fatality and 29 injuries, with the primary suspect, Abdul Ballout, 21, still at large.
