Poplar Hill Middle School to open in Rutherford County to ease overcrowding
Rutherford County Schools opened Poplar Hill Middle School, a $59.9 million facility near Murfreesboro, to address overcrowding and replace portable classrooms. The 169,000-square-foot school will serve 850 students in grades 6-8 and is part of a district-wide rezoning effort amid rapid growth in the I-24 and 840 corridors.
