Two individuals were arrested for impersonating a Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s aide in a cyber fraud. Elathur MLA Vidya Balakrishnan received a call from someone claiming to be the private secretary of the Wayanad MP, offering a Cabinet Minister’s post in exchange for ₹3 crore. The MLA verified with the MP’s office, confirming it was a scam.
